Bend Studio Rolls Out Patch 1.036.178 for PS5 and 1.13 for PC

Patch 1.036.178 for PlayStation 5 and 1.13 for PC is now live. Both versions bring crash fixes, improve streaming performance, and enhance localization for global players.

The new update is the fifth patch released since the remastered version launched. Prior to this, the last major patch was delivered on June 24. Bend Studio previously released two updates in May and two in June.

Days Gone Remastered Continues to Improve Post-Launch

This steady stream of patches shows Bend Studio’s ongoing commitment to improving the player experience. Each patch adds polish and addresses bugs that players encounter.

The remaster already featured significant upgrades over the 2019 PS4 version. This includes visual enhancements and the addition of Horde Assault mode.

Update Arrives Amid Studio Challenges and Sequel Hopes

The update arrives during a difficult phase for Bend Studio, which laid off 30% of its staff on June 10. This followed the cancellation of its live-service project earlier this year.

Despite the challenges, many fans are still hopeful for a Days Gone sequel. While no official sequel has been announced, the remaster’s release has reignited interest in Deacon’s post-apocalyptic story.
