Battlefield 6 Campaign Features Only 9 Missions

Battlefield 6 is just two weeks away from release, and new details about its single-player Campaign have surfaced. EA confirmed that the story mode will only feature 9 missions, making it one of the shortest Campaigns in the franchise’s history.
Reports suggest the Campaign can be completed in around 4 to 6 hours, similar to Battlefield 5, which some players finished in as little as three hours. This revelation has sparked disappointment among fans who expected a more expansive single-player experience.
Battlefield 6 Missions List Revealed
According to Insider Gaming and Battlefield news account BFBulletin, the 9 missions span across three different continents. Players will also need an active internet connection to access the Campaign. Here’s the full mission list:
-
Mission 1: Always Faithful
-
Mission 2: The Rock
-
Mission 3: Operation Gladius
-
Mission 4: Night Raid
-
Mission 5: No Sleep
-
Mission 6: Moving Mountains
-
Mission 7: Nile Guard
-
Mission 8: Operation Emberstrike
-
Mission 9: Always Forward
Early impressions from YouTubers who tested the Campaign have been mixed. Some criticized the gameplay as forgettable and described the graphics as underwhelming, with NPC behaviour raising further concerns.
Community Reactions and Multiplayer Hype
While the Campaign feedback has been negative, the Multiplayer mode is generating excitement. After the disappointing launch of Battlefield 2042 in 2021, fans are eager to see how the franchise bounces back.
Developers at DICE have stated that Battlefield 6 feels much closer to fan-favourite entries like Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. With strong open beta feedback and improved multiplayer mechanics, there’s cautious optimism that this installment will restore the series’ reputation.
