Black Ops 6 Season 3 Wraps Up With Final Double XP Weekend Before Season 4

As Black Ops 6 wraps up Season 3, Treyarch Studios is giving fans one last chance to max out their Battle Pass with a final Double XP event kicking off on Friday, May 23. This limited-time event will offer Double XP and Double Battle Pass XP across both Black Ops 6 and Warzone, giving players the perfect opportunity to level up quickly before the next big update hits.

Although Season 3 had its ups and downs — including what many fans considered a lackluster mid-season update — anticipation for Season 4 is building fast. Scheduled to launch on May 29, the next seasonal update promises new and returning content including weapons, maps, and game modes that longtime fans will recognize.

When Does the Black ops 6 Season 3 Double XP Start?

The in-game event tab confirms that Double XP and Battle Pass XP will go live on May 23. Giving players nearly a full week to grind before the seasonal reset. The last double XP event ran just last weekend. This new one looks like the final push from Treyarch to help players complete their Battle Pass. Especially if they’ve been falling behind on Season 3 content.

Unfortunately, this event won’t include Double Weapon XP, so if you’re looking to level up guns like the Kilo 141 or CR-56 AMAX, you’ll need to wait for another opportunity. But for general progression and unlocking those final Battle Pass tiers, this weekend is your best bet.

Season 4 Hype Is Heating Up

Although Treyarch hasn’t fully revealed the content roadmap for Season 4 yet, several teasers have fans buzzing. A recent trailer hinted at the return of two classic weapons — the LC10 Submachine Gun and the FFAR Assault Rifle. Both of which could be included in the Season 4 launch lineup.

The studio also confirmed that a fan-favorite party mode will be making its return. While modes like Gun Game and Prop Hunt are already back, fans have been eagerly waiting for One in the Chamber.  Plus, a mysterious new mode teased with the tagline “Last team standing” could introduce an exciting twist to multiplayer.

With Season 4 launching May 29, players only have a few days left to wrap up. Whether you’re unlocking your last Battle Pass tiers or just enjoying one last XP grind. This final double XP weekend is not to be missed.
