Call of Duty 2026 Title Rumors

Rumor: Call of Duty 2026 Could Be Set in Korea With Major Campaign Twists

A possible new direction for the iconic franchise

New rumors suggest the 2026 Call of Duty title will be named Modern Warfare 사 and take place in Korea. If true, this would mark the franchise’s first time exploring the Korean peninsula.

Campaign rumors hint at North and South Korean conflict

According to leaker TheGhostOfHope, the game is in development at Infinity Ward. The campaign reportedly includes missions in both North and South Korea. Players may fight as Task Force 141, SAS, and the Republic of Korea Army. The plot will continue right after the events of Modern Warfare 3. The player must stop Makarov and the Konni Group’s false flag operations. These efforts aim to ignite another world war. The story is said to feature “some” futuristic tech, but will remain mostly modern in design.

Game mode returns and a possible 2027 surprise

DMZ mode is expected to return with new features. This would mark its third appearance in the series. If the leak holds true, fans can expect an intense mix of tactical combat and narrative depth. Following the 2026 game, reports hint at another major shakeup in 2027. Advanced Warfare may be making a comeback after being dormant since 2014.

When can we expect confirmation?

Activision has yet to confirm anything. However, the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8 may reveal official details. With Black Ops 6 still fresh, fans are already buzzing over what’s next.
