Former Star Wars Jedi Director Unveils New Dungeons & Dragons Action-Adventure Game

Star Wars Jedi Director Ventures Into D&D
Former Star Wars Jedi: Survivor director Stig Asmussen has officially revealed his new project. It’s a Dungeons and Dragons action-adventure game. The project is being developed at his new studio, Giant Skull, and promises a strong single-player experience.
Asmussen is known for directing Star Wars Jedi games and working on the original God of War trilogy. His studio aims to deliver a top-tier Unreal Engine 5 title for both PC and consoles. This new Dungeons and Dragons action-adventure game will combine rich storytelling with fluid traversal and intense combat.
️ Giant Skull and Wizards of the Coast Team Up
On June 2, Giant Skull and Wizards of the Coast confirmed their collaboration in a press release. The new game will be a narrative-driven experience set in the Dungeons and Dragons universe. Fans can expect classic fantasy elements, enhanced visuals, and immersive gameplay mechanics.
Wizards of the Coast president John Hight is involved in the project. He previously worked with Asmussen on God of War 3. While details remain limited, this partnership shows promise for fans of both franchises.
A New Direction for the Dungeons and Dragons Franchise
Giant Skull is taking a bold step by focusing only on single-player content. While D&D is often known for co-op and multiplayer gameplay, this title goes in a different direction. The team wants to deliver a refined solo experience that captures the spirit of D&D campaigns.
Other developers like Invoke Studios are also working on Dungeons and Dragons games. However, Giant Skull’s version could stand out thanks to its strong talent and vision. Fans of God of War and Jedi: Survivor will want to follow this game closely.
