Ghost of Yotei Update 1.10 Patch Notes Released

Ghost of Yotei has received a new update from Sucker Punch, addressing several remaining issues and improving overall gameplay stability. Since its launch on October 2, the game has seen multiple hotfixes to tackle both major and minor bugs.
Despite strong critical and player reception, including surpassing $2 million in sales within three days, Sucker Punch continues to support the game with timely updates. Update 1.10 focuses on crash fixes, mission blockers, and other gameplay improvements.
Performance and Stability Fixes
The update addresses several rare crashes affecting players:

Fixed a rare crash that could occur when ray tracing is enabled.

Fixed a crash during “Poison and Lies” if the player backtracked to the fire in the building with Oyuki following Atsu.
Gameplay Bug Fixes
Update 1.10 resolves multiple mission-blocking and gameplay issues:

Digital Deluxe Edition players can now unlock the Black Ghost mask after completing “To Catch a Spider.”

Permanent mission-blocking bugs fixed in missions, including: “Fighting Fire with Fire,” “The Way of the Kusarigama,” “The Tale of the Oni,” “A Brokered Trust,” “Higashi Lumberyard,” “Broken Horn Garrison,” and “The Kusarigama’s Shame.”

Fixed a bug in “Encounters of the Wild” causing the fox to get stuck after reloading the game.

Players can no longer change their loadout during the spar with Kiku in “A Wolf’s Pack.”

Fixed respawn loop issues after jumping into pits during mission objectives.
Environment and Visual Fixes

Replaced a placeholder asset along a major path in “The Kitsune’s Fate,” improving visual consistency and immersion.
Future Plans for Ghost of Yotei
Sucker Punch has teased the return of the fan-favourite Legends multiplayer mode for Ghost of Yotei. The mode will be added for free in 2026 and includes:

2-story missions and 4 survival missions.

4 character classes.

Battles against massive demonic versions of the Yotei Six.
This update demonstrates Sucker Punch’s commitment to improving the player experience post-launch while setting the stage for future content.
