Sony Celebrates 15 Years of PlayStation Plus With Game Trials and Exclusive Perks

PlayStation Plus celebrates its 15th anniversary on June 29 with events that span game trials, discounts, tournaments, and much more. Sony launched PS Plus back in 2010. Over the years, it has evolved into a multi-tiered subscription service offering monthly games, multiplayer access, and rotating catalogs. To celebrate, Sony is offering activities and rewards for players across all tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium.

PlayStation Plus 15th Anniversary Activities Start This Week

Starting June 25, Premium members can play a trial version of WWE 2K25, with a trial for Monster Hunter Wilds arriving June 30.

From June 27 to 29, all PS Plus members can access exclusive game store discounts. Featured titles include:

• Sniper Elite: Resistance

• Sid Meier’s Civilization 7

• Star Wars Outlaws

Free Cosmetics, Online Access, and Movie Discounts

All PlayStation Plus members can claim a free Valorant cosmetic bundle starting today. It includes sprays, player cards, and Radianite Points. From June 28 to 29, players without PS Plus subscriptions can enjoy free online multiplayer access, no strings attached. PS Plus Premium users also get 15% off up to 2,000 Sony Pictures Core movies, valid through August 12.

PS Plus Tournament and Monthly Games Incoming

Sony is hosting the PlayStation Plus 15th Anniversary Cup beginning June 28. Players can compete in titles like:

• EA Sports FC

• NBA 2K

• Tekken 8

• UFC

• College Football

• Madden NFL

Participants can win PSN avatars, virtual currency, and other digital rewards.

Additionally, Sony confirmed the July PS Plus Monthly Games lineup (July 1–August 4):

• Diablo 4

• King of Fighters 15

• Jusant
