Sony has officially announced its first Playstation State of Play livestream for 2025, scheduled for February 12. The event is set to run for over 40 minutes, showcasing a “creative and unique selection of exciting games” from various studios worldwide.

What to Expect
While Sony has kept specific details under wraps, several anticipated titles might make an appearance:
- Death Stranding 2 On The Beach – Director Hideo Kojima has been teasing a new trailer on social media, suggesting we might see more of this post-apocalyptic adventure.
- Ghost of Yotei – The sequel to Sucker Punch’s acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima is scheduled for release later this year. Fans are eager for more details and gameplay footage.
- FairGame$– This live-service heist game has been under the radar for a while. An update during the State of Play would be a pleasant surprise.
- Bloodborne Remaster – With the 10th anniversary of the original game approaching, there’s speculation about a remastered version for the PS5.
