Rumor Hints at Three Playable Characters in Resident Evil Requiem

A new rumour suggests Resident Evil Requiem could feature three playable characters. Earlier reports claimed the game would only have two, but a third may be joining the cast.
The game was announced at Summer Game Fest in June, thrilling fans who stayed until the end for the reveal. Its trailer teased a long-awaited return to Raccoon City and introduced a new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft. Resident Evil Requiem has already surpassed one million wishlists, a strong sign of its potential success.
Resident Evil Requiem Could Feature Grace, Leon, and Alyssa
Reliable Capcom leaker Dusk Golem recently claimed the game will include “Leon & Grace. A little Alyssa, but that’s really it.” Alyssa Ashcroft, a key figure in 2003’s Resident Evil Outbreak, has rarely been seen since. However, her connection as Grace’s mother makes a short playable section for her possible.
Previous rumours also suggested Leon Kennedy would return as a main character, despite not appearing in the first trailer. Any Alyssa section may be small compared to Leon and Grace’s roles. Still, as with any rumour, it’s best to take this with caution.
More Resident Evil Leaks Surface
Another recent leak from Dusk Golem hinted at several exciting gameplay features. Fans can expect Capcom to reveal more details as the February 27, 2026, release date approaches. With the return to Raccoon City and multiple playable characters, Resident Evil Requiem is shaping up to be a highly anticipated release.
